About

Sandy Wheeler, Creator and Founder

Millions of lives are impacted by periods of bereavement and degrees of grief every single day. The leading cause of bereavement, grief, and mourning is the death of a loved one. The people impacted are those closest to the person whose life has ended.

April 5, 1970, was a day never to be forgotten by the creator of this app. Sandy left Vietnam after serving 18 months in the Navy, where he held a Top-Secret Clearance. He left Da Nang not knowing that one of his best friends from high school, also serving in Vietnam, was killed that very day.

When Sandy received the news, he was devastated with grief.  His friend was married and had a son who was yet to be born; a son who would never hear his daddy’s voice say, “I Love You.” Little did Sandy know that years later that grief would lead him to develop an App that would give everyone the opportunity to record messages to help those they love to cope with grief when life on earth ends.

Today, the first of two Apps is complete and ready to use: Life’s Final Thoughts. Soon, Sandy will have a second App complete, Life’s Thoughts. Life’s Final Thoughts will release all videos created and stored upon the creator’s death. Life’s Thoughts allows various release dates.  For example, Sandy has created a video message for each grandchild’s wedding, although today he has no idea when, or if, such an event will take place, but, if and when that event happens, the video stored in his personalized Vault, inside the Life’s Thoughts App, will be released to the named grandchild.

Sandy is a former Vietnam Vet, former CPA with Peat Marwick, Founder and Chief Marketing Officer of Bowflex (which purchased Nautilus, Stairmaster, and Schwinn Fitness), and Founder and CFO/CMO of Orange Toucan. He is married to his fantastic wife of 53 years (1971), is a father to 5 children, and “Papa” to 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He is an avid outdoorsman, a dedicated Christian and loves the USA.
